Interpretation

Organism identified by 16S nucleic acid amplification.

Ribosomal RNA sequence is matched to known rRNA sequences in GenBank® (NIH, U.S. DHHS) and Ridom (Ridom GmbH, Wurzburg). Presence of two or more bacterial species may result in ambiguous rRNA sequence. Interpretation based on CLSI Guidelines: Interpretive criteria for the identification of bacteria by DNA target sequencing.
