Test Information
Patients on Coumadin may be tested.  An Anticardiolipin Ab Screen (ACLSCN), dilute Russells Viper Venom Time (DRVVT) and a PTT-Lupus Anticoagulant (PTTLA) will be performed.  If the ACLSCN is positive an Anticardiolipin IgA (ACLA), Anticardiolipin IgG (ACLG) and an Anticardiolipin IgM (ACLM) will be performed.

Requested panel includes Lupus anticoagulant testing (DRVVT and PTT-LA), these tests should not be performed on patients receiving rivaroxaban, apixaban, dabigatran, edoxaban, or warfarin.  For patients on these medications, order the anticardiolipin antibody and/or anti-beta-2 glycoprotein 1 antibody tests individually instead of the panel.
