Collection Processing Instructions
Acceptable specimens include: Fresh Tissue (in sterile RPMI-1640, Hank's Balanced Salt Solution, Cytogenetics Transport Media, or sterile saline); or Body Fluids (submit in sodium heparin). If tissue is large, cut into several smaller pieces.  Specimen must arrive in Flow Cytometry within 36 hours of collection. Notify Flow Cytometry (800-222-5835, ext. 16385) of specimen arrival in lab. Cells in specimen must be viable.​
