Useful For
​VAP Cholesterol (FVAPSO) is no longer avilable due to the performing laboratory closing.  Marshfield Labs offers the following tests as alternatives to the VAP test.
Specimen Requirements

• CRP, High Sensitivity (CHD Risk) (Testcode: CRPHS)
This test is useful for assessing atherosclerosis/cardiovascular risk in apparently healthy adults. Because CRP is an acute phase reactant and shows significant elevations in inflammatory states, this test should not be used for acutely ill patients.

•  Lipoprotein Cholesterol and HDL (Testcode: HDLTC)
Includes Total Cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and calculated non-HDL cholesterol
