Test is available for ordering by Marshfield Medical Center, St. Clare's Hospital, Flambeau Hospital and MMC-Rice Lake.  Marshfield Center is the only performing site.  Not available to Outreach clients at this time.
Not for routine diagnosis of viral syndrome illness. To be used in serious lower respiratory illness in urgent care/emergency room/intensive care settings. The FilmArray® Respiratory Panel is used for the qualitative detection and identification of multiple respiratory viral and bacterial nucleic acids in nasopharyngeal (NP) swabs and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid or bronchial washings from individuals with suspected respiratory tract infections.  The panel detects the following upper respiratory viruses and bacteria: Adenovirus, Coronavirus 229E, Coronavirus HKU1,Cornavirus NL63, Coronavirus OC43, Human Metapneumovirus, Influenza A, Influenza A subtype H1, Influenza A subtype H3, Influenza A subtype H1-2009, Influenza B, Parainfluenza virus 1, Parainfluenza virus 2, Parainfluenza virus 3, Parainfluenza virus 4, Human Rhinovirus/Enterovirus, Respiratory Syncytial virus, Bordetella pertussis, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, and Mycoplasma pneumonia.
